Tokar, et al. v. GEICO was a class action lawsuit filed on May 5, 2003 in California Superior Court in San Diego. Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho and co-counsel, Edwards & George and Bruckner Burch, represented plaintiffs and a class of telephone dedicated employees in GEICO’s Poway, California call center. The case sought recovery of unpaid wages and related penalties for telephone dedicated employees, who had to work before and after their scheduled telephone shifts without pay. The case was settled for $3.3 million.
