Federal and many state statutes prohibit discrimination in public accommodations such as restaurants, hotels, retail establishments and other such businesses open to the public.

Individuals may not be denied access to such public accommodations based on their race, color, gender or religion. Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho successfully litigated the largest public accommodations class action case to date for African American customers who alleged they were denied equal treatment and services at Denny’s Restaurants in California.
