Sims v. Downey Savings and Loans Association

Sims, et al. v. Downey Savings and Loans Association — On April 18, 2007, the Superior Court of California approved a class action settlement of up to $900,000 in this case alleging that Downey failed to pay overtime and a promised annual bonus to its underwriters employed in California at any time between June 21, 2001 and September 30, 2002.  The law firms of Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho and Davenport, Gerstner & McClure served as court appointed Class Counsel.
