Mahoney, et al. v. AT&T Corp., et al., was a putative class action in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of current and former Account Managers, Service Managers, and Project Managers who performed customer service functions for AT&T’s mid-size and large business customers in certain market segments in California for unpaid overtime, premiums for missed meal periods, and related compensation and penalties as a result as being misclassified as exempt by defendants, and unreimbursed business expenses for service managers who incurred expenses maintaining home virtual offices and/or business use of their cell phones during certain time periods.
