Summer Associate Program

Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho (“GBDH”) is a boutique public interest class action and complex litigation law firm in Oakland, California. We focus on high-impact litigation across the United States, including in the areas of employment justice, disability access, voting rights, and consumer protection.

We are accepting applications for the 2021 program as of September 1, 2020 and will continue accepting applications until the positions are filled. We seek students with superior academic records who have completed their first or second year of law school and have demonstrated a commitment to public interest work, civil rights, employment law, and/or disability law. Spanish speaking proficiency is a plus. We are a firm led by women and people of color, and we are committed to furthering diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

The 10-week program is designed to ensure that each of our summer associates obtains a hands-on understanding of what it is like to practice law at our firm. Summer associates participate in a variety of litigation assignments, observation opportunities, trainings, and feedback sessions.
