GBDH wins class certification on behalf of truck drivers in Ayala v. U.S. Xpress.

July 28, 2017

In Ayala v. U.S. Xpress, GBDH represents a truck driver who alleges that U.S. Xpress’s mileage-based compensation system violates California minimum wage laws and that U.S. Xpress did not provide drivers adequate meal and rest breaks.  On July 27, 2017, the United States District Court for the Central District of California certified a class of approximately 1,000 California-resident drivers for work performed in California.  The order is available here.
