On October 23, 2017, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (Judge Jeffrey White, presiding) granted the plaintiffs’ motion for class certification in Munguia-Brown v. Equity Residential. GBDH and co-counsel represent a statewide class of California tenants challenging the late fees that Equity Residential has charged them for late payment of rent.
