GBDH, along with co-counsel Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center (CREEC), obtained final approval of a $130 million class action settlement that will improve the accessibility of the City of San Jose’s curb ramp system.  Under the settlement in Lashbrook v. City of San Jose, the City is required to build more than 27,000 accessible curb ramps throughout San Jose over the next eighteen years.  More details about the settlement, which the Court praised as “remarkable” and a “service to the community” can be found here.
