Macey, et al. v. Wells Fargo

In 2011, three cases were consolidated into one proceeding in San Francisco Superior Court on behalf of home mortgage consultants and retail sales supervisors employed by Wells Fargo in California.  They alleged that Wells Fargo unlawfully deducted certain business expenses from their wages and did not reimburse them for all business expenses.  After two years of active litigation and motion practice, the parties entered into a proposed class action settlement with a total value of $3 million.  On 10/30/13, the court granted preliminary approval of the proposed class action settlement.  Individualized settlement notices were mailed to settlement class members in late November 2013.

On 3/5/14, the court granted final approval of the settlement.  Read PDF copy of final approval order below.
