Contreras v. Bank of America

Contreras, et al. v. Bank of America National Association, filed in San Francisco Superior Court, is a putative class action filed on behalf of current and former mortgage loan officers.  The plaintiffs allege that Bank of America has violated California state laws by failing to reimburse mortgage loan officers for business expenses, including cell phone usage and mileage, and by making unlawful deductions from mortgage loan officer wages.  Our co-counsel in this case are Clark & Markham LLP, Hoffman & Lazear, United Employees Law Group, Mehri & Skalet PLLC, and Major Khan LLC.

Final approval of the settlement was granted on September 3, 2010.  Checks were mailed to qualifying claimants on December 3, 2010.
