Kristen A. Burzynski joined Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho in September, 2020. Before GBDH, Ms. Burzynski was a Social Justice Fellow in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, where she worked on a wide range of reforms, and participated in the Mayor’s Marijuana Legalization and Bail Reform Task Forces. She was also a Fellow at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where she focused on LGBTQ rights and other civil rights litigation. Additionally, Ms. Burzynski spent two years on the Board of Directors for GSA Network, a nationwide, non-profit, racial and gender justice organization. Before pursuing her legal career, Ms. Burzynski was a middle school teacher and California Teachers’ Union representative. She holds an M.A. in Education Policy from Loyola Marymount University, and a J.D. from the University of California, Irvine, School of Law, where she was awarded highest honors for her pro-bono achievements.
