Morazan v. Aramark Uniform & Career Apparel Group, Inc., et al.

Filed in 2012, Morazan v. Aramark Uniform & Career Apparel Group, Inc. is a class action lawsuit pending before the United States District Court, Northern District of California. Plaintiff Morazan, on behalf of herself and similarly situated employees, seeks payment for unpaid regular, minimum and overtime wages, premium pay for missed meal and rest breaks, waiting time penalties, penalties and damages for failure to provide accurate itemized wage statements, and other civil and statutory penalties. On June 25, 2013, the Hon. Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers granted preliminary approval of the Settlement Agreement in this action.  On July 18, 2013, individualized settlement notices along with personalized claim forms were mailed to all settlement class members eligible to receive a share of the $2.750 million settlement preliminarily approved by the Court.  On November 15, 2013 the court granted final approval to the settlement.  Individualized settlement checks with be mailed to all eligible class members in July 2014.
